Depot
HIZKIA has over 17.400 m2 of climate controlled and secure storage space that can be rented by the square metre on a short-term or long-term basis.
We can accommodate entire museum collections, but you can also store a single work of art with us in a rack or in a tailor-made or standard strongbox. The depot is equipped with the most modern facilities for photographing and conserving works of art. We facilitate digitization and restoration projects on location, and also in our Collection Centre, which is in the HIZKIA head office in The Hague.
HIZKIA’s new headquarters in Willebroek Belgium opened in December 2019. This state-of-the-art depot is a bespoke building constructed to our precise specifications for museum-standard art storage with a total of 5400 m2.
