Project coördinator logistics (inter)national art transport

For our Project Management department (6 people) in The Hague, we are looking for a project manager who ensures that the transport and contacts about this with customers and lenders are carried out down to the last detail.

What are you going to do?

As a project coordinator, you are responsible from A to Z for the logistics process of national and international exhibitions and art transports. This concerns transport by road, but also sea and air freight. You therefore have daily contact with colleagues from planning, invoicing, sales and of course with our art handlers / drivers.
You are the point of contact for lenders and borrowers (usually museums) and engage our foreign agents/offices where necessary.
You also maintain good contacts with airlines and shipping companies.
You offer solutions that keep the customer surprised and satisfied. You monitor the budget, you provide the correct transport documents and you ensure that your file is fully updated and ready for invoicing after completion of the project.

Job Requirements

Who are you?

You are customer-oriented, independent and show initiative. You enjoy working in a team. In addition, you can keep the overview in a hectic environment.

For the performance of the function you take the following with you.
• HBO working and thinking level
• At least 2 years of work experience in logistics or a project environment
• Knowledge of air freight transport is a plus
• Excellent oral and written skills in Dutch and English
• Commercial and result-oriented attitude
• Flexible (no 9 to 5 mentality)
• Affinity with or knowledge of art and museums
• Accuracy
