Lemmens Art Conservation at depot Willebroek
Lemmens Art Conservation has specialized in the conservation of modern and contemporary art for over 30 years. The practice of contemporary art has gradually blurred the boundaries of traditional generic divisions. Today, extraordinary mixtures of media and supports are common, placing traditionally trained restorers under unprecedented pressure. Responding to the hybrid nature of contemporary art, Lemmens Art Conservation has developed a unique multidisciplinary approach, bringing together conservation-restoration expertise in sculpture, painting, plastics, glass, ceramics, and media arts within the same team. The availability of diverse creativities, sensitivities, achievements, and expertise allows the studio to respond to the most eclectic projects.
